Fable 2 screwing up in Bloodstone?

I just got to the mission and reaver told me to get more renown. So i did but now the game completely screws up in the town and the door remains shut to the mansion room so I can't enter. I can't pull ou my weapons while in the town or buy items or anything. But as soon as I leave the town it starts working again. I'm positive I have enough renown but it's just screwed up. Has anyone else had this or heard of this problem? And if so then how do i fix this? Thanks for any help.

1. I just beat the game and he didnt ask me to get more renown he had me do a mission. I think you screwd up big time and need to start again.
2. check for scratches. if there aren't any id suggest starting your file over again.
