The Demon Door in Bloodstone wont work. HELP?

I have the lute. i play the lute and he tells me to hit that final note then he tells me how bad I am. I have tried and tried but he wont open. any suggestions???

1. hold in the expression (up on the d-pad for me) =) and then a meter will come up. its very similar to the woodcutting and blacksmithing job. just hold it in and wait until the marker is in the green and let go :) hope i helped
