For a fall wedding what color would go with amethyst?
I only know one color; amethyst. That is the color of the bridesmaids dresses. I thought silver would look beautiful but am having a hard time finding proper decor in silver. Any one have Ideas? Everyone says gole...does anyone have links that would show what the two look like together...I cant see them being cohesive.

- Gold!
- Yellow Pink Blue
- Silver with amethyst would feel more wintery to me....now gold, that would warm up the naturally cool look of amethyst and take it into the autumnal colors. Ivory/cream would work, so would the deeper shades of green
- A nice warm Gold A darker Ivory color If you are going for more of a Jewel tone thing then A nice Emerald green but if you want to keep the fall feeling go for the warm gold and dark ivory. So I guess maybe ditch the idea of silver unless you want a winter feeling at the wedding.
- gold....2nd choice how about navy blue?
- Since it's a fall wedding, maybe have the amethyst and a chocolate-y brown. http://rlv.zcache.com/baby_shower_invitation_5x7_purple_with_brown-p1614307104480502442l537_400.jpg - I know it's a baby shower invite, but it has the colors :P http://www.favorideas.com/com_images/181/lg_181869_1.jpg http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-set/BQcDAAAAAwoDanBnAAAABC5vdXQKFjdNalN0encxM2hHN2NoTENBLWRoR3cAAAACaWQKAWUAAAAEc2l6ZQ.jpg http://www.banquetevent.com/wedding/misc/bande/uploaded_images/purple_cake-741366.jpg I also like amethyst and orange. Gives it a more fall feel, and lets you incorporate dried leaves, maybe tree branches and silk flowers for centerpieces? http://www.glamourousgowns.co.uk/images/blog/orangepurple.jpg http://www.oncewed.com/wp-content/gallery/jannsen-sonya/002.jpg Amethyst and green kinda give off a spring feel, but maybe if you went with a deeper sort of green ie: sage or forest green, you might be able to pull of a bit of a fall feel. http://abbyjean.typepad.com/style_me_pretty/images/2007/12/10/purple_inspired_wedding.jpg Amethyst and gold are very elegant, as well. And to be truthful, if you don't want to incorporate fall into the decor at all - that's perfectly fine. Especially if you're having an indoor ceremony, because you can create whatever atmosphere you like when you've got a clean slate. It's just harder to have an outdoor ceremony, and not incorporate the natural colors, you know what I mean? :) Here's amethyst, silver and bits of gold, as well: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mVNQFjdp3b0/SFsJgTlLs6I/AAAAAAAAAYw/_0Af8TVTFCw/s400/WW-%2B6-26%2BPurple%2Band%2BSilver%2BWedding%2Bcopy.jpg Just amethyst and silver: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-set/BQcDAAAAAwoDanBnAAAABC5vdXQKFkxsa2dBbzl2M1JHZWtNc19DTDVOYXcAAAACaWQKAWUAAAAEc2l6ZQ.jpg http://lovelaughterelegance.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/purplehazeboard2.jpg I hope whichever colors you end up picking work wonderfully for you. Have an amazing wedding, and good luck with your planning!

- go with a rich yellow gold , or you can go with a light lilac with the amethyst... Let the Amethyst be the strong Fall color.
