1. Just a little input....in the jewelry trade, there is a difference between an Appraisal and an Opinion. A appraisal is a document with breakdown of your item(s) with detailing of stones and usually a retail replacement value. Most appraisers start their appraisals at around $65-$75 per document. An opinion is a jeweler looking over your piece and giving you an estimated value based on their ideas of current market. Best coverage is take plenty of pictures and get the most information about your pieces. ie: Karatage of Gold/Metal, Carat weight of stone(s), Quality of Stones, Gram Weight of the piece. Also, be decript. Mention every detail and be verbose. Hope that helps...
