I have a amethyst that is 3 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches. How much would it be worth?

1. natural amethysts are very common - it depends if it was treated or not and if you have a well grown crystal with a good color that is not faked about $50 - fakes and amorphous amethyst go for $2 - a picture would help to judge or search for a similar stone on ebay to see what is asked for it
